people call them. We have tried hard to find you only the best suppliers of the best 2 quart crock pots.
A 2 quart crock pot is made by such famous suppliers such as Rival, Hamilton Beach, Cuisinart, Toastess and
Delonghi.
2 Quart Crock Pot
There are some really fantastic recipes for the smaller, 2 quart crock pot and they are almost always easy to
follow. However, the modern 2 quart crock pot is programmable with separate thermostat and timing controls like a
microwave. The older ones only had an and off and an automatic thermostat, which you had no control over.
This was fine, if you just wanted to put a load of vegetables and a few pieces of meat in your 2 quart crock pot
and go off to work, knowing that the stew or whatever would be ready when you got home. However, now that many a 2
quart crock pot is programmable all that has changed..
For example, with a programmable 2 quart crock pot, you could have the pot boil quickly for 10 minutes to get
the food cooking more quickly, thereby shortening the cooking time or you could have the programmable 2 quart crock
pot turn itself off after a certain number of hours, so that you can add a delicate ingredient when you get
home.
A 2 quart crock pot really means that you do not have to have everything cooked to a mush, if you are a bit late
back. I have put a recipe below which works far better with a programmable 2 quart crock pot than an on/off type. I
hope you enjoy it.
